Path traversal in Dell Avamar Server and Virtual Edition 19.8 through 19.12 allows remote authenticated users to disclose information. Dell identifies only the Security component and has not disclosed the pathname source, validation failure, or files exposed. Exploitation requires high privileges and remote access; PowerProtect DP Series Appliance before 2.7.9 is also affected, and the stated consequence is limited information disclosure.
