Authentication bypass in Dell PowerProtect Data Domain DD OS 7.7.1.0 through 8.3.0.15 allows remote attackers to create accounts. Dell has not published the affected authentication locus or the spoofed identity material accepted during account creation. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient; a created account can expose customer information and alter or interrupt the system.
