Unauthorized account access via embedded credentials
Published May 28, 2025 · Updated May 28, 2025
Use of hard-coded credentials in Dell PowerStore before 4.0.1.3-2494147 allows remote authenticated users to access a privileged account. The PowerStore image file embeds credentials for an account instead of requiring a deployment-specific secret. Exploitation requires low-privileged remote access and knowledge of those credentials; resulting access is bounded by the embedded account's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
