Administrator-browser script execution via crafted URL
Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated Jul 31, 2025
Reflected XSS in PowerCMS 4.6 and earlier, 5.3 and earlier, and 6.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted URL. Public advisories do not identify the request parameter or server-side output operation that reflects it without safe HTML-context encoding. The attack requires a product administrator to open the URL; the script executes in the administrator's browser under the PowerCMS origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
