Victim account compromise via unsanitized cancelUri reflection
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Reflected XSS in WWBN AVideo 14.4 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through the LoginWordPress cancelUri parameter. The plugin's loginForm.php inserts a validated but unsanitized cancelUri value directly into an anchor href attribute, allowing attribute breakout. Exploitation requires the LoginWordPress plugin, a configured Custom WP Site, and a logged-out victim who follows a crafted link; script execution can compromise that victim's account.
