Device identifier disclosure via unchecked pet IDs
Published Jan 3, 2026 · Updated Jan 3, 2026
Information disclosure in Petlibro Smart Pet Feeder Platform 1.7.31 and earlier allows remote attackers to read device identifiers. The /device/devicePetRelation/getBoundDevices endpoint accepts a pet ID and returns bound-device serial numbers and MAC addresses without checking requester authorization or ownership. No authentication or ownership check is required; the disclosed serial number can then be used against separately unprotected device APIs.
