Database service crash via duplicate transaction heartbeats

Reachable assertion in Bloomberg Comdb2 8.1 allows remote attackers to crash a database service via a crafted TCP message. The distributed-transaction heartbeat handler accepts two protocol-buffer HEARTBEAT messages with the same transaction ID and reaches an assertion. No authentication or user interaction is required; one connection to the database port can terminate the service and interrupt database availability.
