Arbitrary command execution via unauthorized Agent access

Published Apr 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Improper source verification in iManage Work Desktop for Mac 10.8.1.46 and earlier allows attackers to execute commands through unauthorized Agent access. The Agent service accepts unauthorized communications without adequately verifying the communication channel's source; the published record discloses no more specific code-level locus or input path. Exploitation requires passive user interaction but no prior privileges, and successful commands can compromise data handled by the desktop client.
