Authentication bypass in IBM Maximo Application Suite allows remote attackers to access Cognos Analytics through Maximo Manage. IBM has not disclosed which Maximo Manage authentication operation fails or how crafted requests evade it. Exposure requires Maximo Manage to use MXCSP with standalone Cognos Analytics; affected releases are 9.0.0 through 9.0.15 and 9.1.0 through 9.1.4.
