Inadequate encryption strength in IBM Security QRadar EDR 3.12 through 3.12.23 allows remote attackers to decrypt sensitive information. The IBM Security ReaQta component applies weaker-than-expected cryptographic algorithms to highly sensitive information, but IBM has not disclosed the algorithm, key handling, or encrypted data path. Remote, unauthenticated access is sufficient, although exploitation requires additional conditions that IBM has not publicly described; the reported consequence is decryption only.
