Authenticated stored XSS through Web UI injection
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Stored XSS in IBM watsonx.data intelligence 5.2.0, 5.2.1, 5.2.2, and 5.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript. The Web UI stores attacker-supplied script content and later executes it in the site's trusted browser context; IBM has not disclosed the affected field, endpoint, or missing output-encoding operation. An authenticated account is required to plant the payload, which can alter interface behavior and expose credentials within a trusted session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
