CVE-2025-3632Network attack vector

HSM service interruption via excessive memory allocation

Published May 12, 2025 · Updated Aug 28, 2025

Excessive memory allocation in IBM 4769 Developers Toolkit 7.0.0 through 7.5.52 allows remote attackers to interrupt HSM service. The HSM accepts an excessive size value and performs an improper memory allocation that exhausts resources. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is HSM denial of service without confidentiality or integrity impact.
