Authenticated service crash via AMQRMPPA use-after-free
Published Jul 11, 2025 · Updated Aug 18, 2025
Use-after-free in IBM MQ and MQ Appliance 9.3 and 9.4 allows remote authenticated users to crash AMQRMPPA via a client connection. IBM locates the fault in the AMQRMPPA channel process but does not disclose which object is freed or how client data causes its later access. A permitted MQ client connection is required, and successful exploitation terminates the channel process without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
