CVE-2025-36298Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via unneutralized Web UI script

Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026

Cross-site scripting in the EBICS server of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File Gateway allows authenticated script injection. The Web UI renders authenticated user-controlled content without neutralizing embedded JavaScript, causing the script to execute in another trusted session. An authenticated user must plant the payload and a victim must interact with the affected Web UI; execution alters displayed behavior and enables credential disclosure.
