HTTP header injection in IBM Aspera Faspex 5 5.0.0 through 5.0.14.3 allows remote authenticated users to hijack sessions. The web application accepts an untrusted Host header without proper validation, allowing attacker-controlled header content to influence generated responses. Exploitation requires low-privileged authentication and victim interaction; consequences are bounded to cross-site scripting, cache poisoning, or session hijacking.
