CVE-2025-36223Network attack vector

Authenticated response manipulation via unvalidated Host header

Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated Nov 12, 2025

HTTP header injection in IBM OpenPages 9.0 and 9.1 allows remote authenticated users to alter response data through a crafted Host header. The application accepts an untrusted Host header without validating it against allowed hostnames and can use that value when constructing responses or redirects. A valid account is required; in affected redirect scenarios, the injected host can send users to an untrusted destination or enable XSS, cache poisoning, or session hijacking.
