Authenticated command execution via unvalidated format strings
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Sep 22, 2025
Command execution in IBM webMethods Integration 10.15 and 11.1 allows remote authenticated users to run system commands through an XSLT service. The pub.xslt.Transformations:transformSerialXML service improperly validates externally supplied format-string arguments before processing them. The account must have permission to execute the service; successful exploitation runs commands with the Integration Server process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
