CVE-2025-36172Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via stored Web UI script

Published Nov 3, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Stored XSS in IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation 24.0.0, 24.0.1, and 25.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to run Web UI JavaScript. The Web UI stores attacker-supplied input and later renders it without sufficient neutralization, causing embedded JavaScript to execute in a trusted session; IBM has not disclosed the affected field, endpoint, or rendering routine. A low-privileged authenticated account is required, and execution can alter interface behavior or disclose credentials available within the victim's session.
