CVE-2025-36159

Audit-log forgery via unneutralized output

Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025

Log injection in IBM Concert 1.0.0 through 2.0.0 allows local users to forge entries that impersonate users or conceal identity. IBM has not identified the affected logging component or disclosed which attacker-controlled values reach log output without neutralization. Local access is required, and successful exploitation compromises audit-log integrity by creating misleading attribution rather than disclosing data or interrupting service.
