Stack-based buffer overflow in IBM InfoSphere Data Replication VSAM Remote Source 11.4 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. IBM identifies CECSUB and CECRM storage files as the input locus but has not disclosed the routine or operation that applies inadequate bounds checking. Local access to either file is required, and successful exploitation executes arbitrary code on the system.
