Authenticated service interruption via automatic statement-heap exhaustion

Resource exhaustion in IBM Db2 11.5.0 through 11.5.9 and 12.1.0 through 12.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. When STMHEAP is AUTOMATIC, greedy join enumeration can allocate statement-heap memory beyond the parameter's underlying per-compilation limit. Remote authenticated users must reach the Db2 service; IBM has not disclosed the query structure or whether exhaustion causes a hang or crash.
