Reflected XSS via visualization query parameters
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Reflected XSS in Demtec Graphlytic 5.0.7 allows remote attackers to inject browser-executed script through /visualization requests. The endpoint's HTTP GET parameter handler returns crafted query content without neutralizing it for the generated page; public records do not identify the exact parameter or response context. A victim must open the crafted request, after which the script executes in the Graphlytic origin and can alter browser-visible content.
