Credential disclosure via Web UI script injection
Published Nov 6, 2025 · Updated Nov 6, 2025
Cross-site scripting in IBM Business Automation Workflow allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the Web UI. IBM states that untrusted input is embedded as JavaScript in the Web UI but does not identify the affected endpoint, parameter, or encoding failure. The attack requires no authentication but requires a user to load affected content in a trusted session, where the script can alter displayed behavior and expose credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=24.0.0 <=24.0.1
