Authenticated sensitive data disclosure via plaintext environment files
Published Dec 8, 2025 · Updated Dec 9, 2025
Information disclosure in IBM Controller 11.1.0 through 11.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data from environment files. Controller stores sensitive values without encryption in environment-variable files, but IBM does not identify the files, values, or request path used to obtain them. A valid low-privilege account is required, and the reported impact is limited to confidentiality.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
