Authenticated service interruption via invalid quantity input
Published Dec 8, 2025 · Updated Dec 8, 2025
Improper input validation in IBM Controller 11.1.0 through 11.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the service. The application fails to validate a user-specified quantity size, but IBM has not disclosed the affected request, code path, or resource whose handling causes the denial of service. Reachability requires an authenticated network session; IBM does not state whether the interruption takes the form of a crash or hang.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
