CVE-2025-36010Network attack vector

Service hang via executable-segment deadlock

Published Jul 29, 2025 · Updated Jul 29, 2025

Deadlock in IBM Db2 for Linux 12.1.0 through 12.1.1 allows remote attackers to hang database service availability. Db2 execution segments wait on one another to release a required lock, leaving affected work unable to complete; IBM withholds the specific functionality and reproduction steps. IBM's prose describes unauthenticated access, while its CVSS vector requires low privileges, so the precise access gate remains unresolved.
