CVE-2025-35983Network attack vector

Privileged overrides via improper certificate validation

Published Jul 10, 2025 · Updated Jul 10, 2025

Improper certificate validation in Gallagher Security Controller 7000 9.30 before vCR9.30.250624a allows remote attackers to override privileges. Gallagher identifies OneLink certificate validation during initial configuration as the faulty locus but does not disclose the exact certificate check that fails. Exploitation requires inbound network access, precise timing, and insider knowledge of site configuration; connected controllers are not exposed, and impact is limited to privileged overrides or a limited service interruption.
