Out-of-bounds write in Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software before 23.160 allows attackers to interrupt Windows systems via adjacent access. Intel has not disclosed which driver routine or untrusted input triggers the write beyond locating the flaw in Ring 2 device drivers. Adjacent, unauthenticated access with no user interaction is sufficient, and successful exploitation can interrupt the vulnerable system.
