Administrator access via SNMP-derived default serial credential
Published Aug 7, 2025 · Updated Aug 7, 2025
Weak credentials in FUJIFILM Corporation Frontier DX400W all versions allow remote attackers with SNMP access to gain administrator access. The device assigns its serial number as the default administrator password even though SNMP reveals information from which that password is guessed. Exploitation requires SNMP reachability and an unchanged factory password; the reported consequence is administrator login, not code execution.
