CVE-2025-3587Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated teacher-record disclosure via missing role constraint

Published Apr 14, 2025 · Updated Apr 14, 2025

Improper authorization in StudentManager 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read all teacher records through getTeacherList. TeacherController reads the teacher object from the session and adds a teacher-ID query constraint only when that object exists, leaving student requests unfiltered. A student session is sufficient; the public proof of concept supplies an authenticated request, and the grounded consequence is teacher-data disclosure rather than administrative write access or code execution.
