CVE-2025-35452Network attack vector

Administrative takeover via shared default web password

Published Sep 5, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025

Default credentials in PTZOptics and ValueHD-based camera web interfaces allow remote attackers to obtain administrative control. Affected firmware provisions a shared default password and accepts it at the administrative web login instead of requiring a device-unique secret. Network access to the web interface is sufficient; successful login exposes sensitive information and camera controls with administrator privileges.
