CVE-2025-35451Network attack vector

Administrative takeover via hard-coded remote-service credentials

Published Sep 5, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in ValueHD-based PTZ cameras allow remote attackers to gain administrative access through exposed SSH or telnet. The firmware assigns fixed administrative passwords to services listening on network interfaces and provides no user control to change the passwords or disable the services. Network reachability is sufficient for camera control and access to sensitive video or configuration data after the readily cracked credentials are recovered.
