Authenticated command injection via unneutralized semicolon
Published Apr 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Command injection in the HTTP POST handler of H3C Magic routers V100R014 allows remote authenticated users to execute system commands. The /api/wizard/getBasicInfo endpoint passes crafted POST input through FCGI_CheckStringIfContainsSemicolon without neutralizing a semicolon before command execution. Access requires low privileges and a position on the router's local network; successful injection permits arbitrary command execution on the device.
