Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DI-8100 16.07.26A1 allows remote attackers to crash jhttpd or execute code via auth.asp. The auth_asp function passes the attacker-controlled callback value to sprintf for copying into stack buffer v65 when usr and pwd are empty, without a length bound. A local-network position is required, but authentication is not; demonstrated return-address control supports a crash, while code execution remains theoretical.
