Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered cid parameter
Published Apr 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
SQL injection in /OpenPublicCourse.aspx in PowerCreator CMS 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through cid. The endpoint fails to strictly filter the cid value before SQL processing, and the published proof of concept places crafted encoded input in that parameter. Low-privilege access is required; successful exploitation permits limited database disclosure, modification, or service interruption without user interaction.
