Authenticated script execution via unfiltered log parameters
Published Apr 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in YouDianCMS 9.5.21 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted UserName or LogType values. LogAction reads either parameter without security filtering and returns it through App/Tpl/Admin/Default/Log/index.html, causing the browser to interpret injected markup. Access to the administrative log page and a victim who follows the crafted URL are required, limiting execution to the victim's browser context.
