Published May 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in AshanJay Designs LLC EventON 4.9.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into event pages. The settings logic in assets/lib/settings/settings.js accepts a settings change without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the stored script runs when another user opens an injected page.
