Stored XSS via unsanitized confirmation message
Published May 2, 2025 · Updated May 2, 2025
Stored XSS in Brainstorm Force SureForms before 1.4.4 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through form settings. The Confirmation Message HTML setting stores script without adequate sanitization or output escaping and renders it after a form submission. Administrator-level access is required, and a later submission executes the script in the visitor's browser with access to that session's data and actions.
