CVE-2025-35007Public exploit

Root command execution via unquoted AT+MFRULE parameters

Published Jun 8, 2025 · Updated Jun 9, 2025

Command injection in Microhard IPn4Gii / Bullet-LTE Firmware 1.2.0-r1132 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain root access. The restricted CLI's cmd_firewall_rule() function inserts unquoted AT+MFRULE parameters into a shell command passed to popen(), allowing command substitutions to run as root. Valid CLI credentials and Telnet or SSH access are required; exploitation escapes the restricted shell and grants full root-level control without interrupting service.
