Authenticated code execution via ZIP path traversal
Published May 22, 2025 · Updated May 22, 2025
Path traversal in Alltena GmbH Allegra before 8.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via a crafted ZIP entry. The isZipEntryValide method fails to validate a user-supplied path before file operations, allowing extraction outside the intended directory. High-privilege authentication is required, and successful exploitation executes code in the LOCAL SERVICE context.
