Authenticated code execution via ZIP path traversal
Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Jun 9, 2025
Path traversal in Alltena GmbH Allegra 8.1.1.49 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via a crafted ZIP archive. The extractFileFromZip method fails to validate a user-supplied archive-entry path before file operations, allowing extraction outside the intended directory. High-privileged Allegra access is required, and code runs as the Allegra process; public materials do not identify the overwritten execution target.
