CVE-2025-3475Network attack vector

Content overwrite and service interruption via callback validation

Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 9, 2025

Incorrect authorization in Drupal WEB-T before 1.1.0 allows remote attackers to overwrite entity content and exhaust server resources. The asynchronous eTranslation callback accepts specially crafted API responses without sufficiently validating that the returned data belongs to an authorized translation request. The eTranslation integration must be enabled and publicly reachable; successful requests can spoof stored translations or increase load until service is interrupted.
