Administrator token theft via unsanitized SVG rendering
Published Jul 7, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025
Stored XSS in Dify before 1.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to steal an administrator token through a published chat viewed in Firefox. The SVGRenderer passes attacker-controlled SVG markup from chat Markdown directly to draw.svg without sanitization, allowing script-bearing SVG content to execute. Exploitation requires a low-privileged user to publish the payload and an administrator to open the conversation in the monitoring or log view with Firefox.
