Unauthorized datasource reads via extra path slash
Published Jun 2, 2025 · Updated Jun 2, 2025
Improper authorization in affected Grafana editions allows remote authenticated users to read restricted datasource data via the proxy API. The datasource proxy accepts an extra slash in the requested path and fails to apply the route-specific permission check to that alternate form. Exploitation requires a minimally privileged account plus a qualifying Alertmanager or Prometheus datasource using route-specific permissions and basic authorization; access is read-only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
