Unauthenticated command execution via M-Bus POST parameters
Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 16, 2025
OS command injection in Ilevia EVE X1 Server 4.7.18.0.eden and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands. The unauthenticated /ajax/php/mbus_build_from_csv.php endpoint passes the mbus_file and mbus_csv POST values to a shell without neutralizing command substitutions. Network access to port 8080 is sufficient, and a public time-delay proof of concept demonstrates execution without credentials or user interaction.
