CVE-2025-34510Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unsanitized ZIP entries

Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Zip Slip in Sitecore XM, XP, and XC 9.0 through 9.3 and 10.0 through 10.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a ZIP upload. The uiUpload pipeline's SaveUnpackedFiles method joins attacker-controlled archive entry names to the destination and writes them without rejecting path traversal sequences. Any authenticated account that can reach Upload2.aspx can place an ASPX file in the webroot and execute code in the Sitecore application context.
