Persistent code execution via unverified boot content

Missing secure boot in Light & Wonder Deck Mate 2 firmware before 2025-10-23 allows physically proximate attackers to execute persistent code. The controller and display modules boot unverified bootloader, kernel, and filesystem content, so changes to exposed eMMC storage run undetected after reboot. Physical access to the device or existing shell access is required; successful tampering can alter shuffler software and configuration across power cycles.
