CVE-2025-34501Public exploit

Administrative takeover via static embedded credentials

Published Nov 3, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in Deck Mate 2 before 2025-10-23 allow physically proximate attackers to gain administrative control. The Linux display module statically deploys one weak root password across devices, while service binaries embed four fixed web-account passwords. Access to exposed USB or Ethernet interfaces permits SSH or web login, after which controller software and firmware utilities can be modified persistently.
