CVE-2025-34452Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file write via subtitle download chain

Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025

Path traversal and SSRF in Streama 1.10.0 through 1.10.5 allow remote authenticated users to write arbitrary server files. SubtitlesController.download passes the user-controlled subDownloadLink to OpensubtitlesService, which fetches it without a host allowlist, and passes subFileName to ZipHelper, which concatenates it into an output path before renaming the file. Authentication and a valid video identifier are required; exploitation writes chosen GZIP content anywhere the Streama process can write, while direct code execution was not demonstrated.
