CVE-2025-34442Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Filesystem path disclosure via public API metadata

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Information disclosure in AVideo before 20.1 allows remote attackers to read absolute media-file paths through public API responses. Video::getSourceFile returns its internal path member, and image metadata copies it into posterPortraitPath and posterLandscapePath fields. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosed server directory structure can support follow-on targeting and exploit chains.
